Mushroom Grow Containers (SacO2, Microbox)
£3 – £1,740 (incl. VAT)
SacO2’s premium range of patented polypropylene containers are perfect for home mushroom cultivation. They are 100% autoclavable and feature their revolutionary depth-filtration system which provides perfect even gas exchange without drying out the substrate.
Thanks to their compact size, sturdy design and the perfect 3 inch depth, we’ve chosen to use the microbox exclusively for our mycoX range of grow at home mushroom kits.
Deeper than most other containers you can find, with a filtered lid and larger fruiting surface means greater substrate and water capacity, larger flushes and bigger yields.
Ideal for conducting mini grow trials before settling on a chosen strain. A great gift size box, stackable, reusable, and fit easily into most autoclaves.

Received today, quick delivery, well packaged. I purchased these to run small and discreet grow trials, and for this purpose, they are perfect. They fit well into my autoclave. Top notch. 5*

Perfect for making massive BRF cakes! It was a bit of an experiment but worked a treat! Similar to the kits you find on the site here: https://woocommerce-143286-2524273.cloudwaysapps.com/buy/mycotub-mushroom-grow-kit-2l/
I made my own injection port lids with rubber injection ports, and RTV silicone for extra peace of mind. I found a leather hole punch best for making the holes. Put it on a chopping board, then your lid, then the punch and you get nice clean holes. Tried using a drill but it ends up catching the plastic and making untidy, none-circular holes. A little heads up for anyone trying to do the same.
Tubs can be re-used although I found them to be slightly less square after the first autoclave, so the lid doesn't fit quite as well as it did the first time round, though still does fit. I put a bead of silicone around the rim for the 2nd time round.
