Hardwood Wood ‘Fuel’ Pellets

With a consistent moisture content, our 6mm premium hardwood pellets are made from freshly sawn, kiln-dried hardwood. A mix of mainly Oak, Ash & Poplar – perfect for all wood-loving mushroom varieties. No binding agents, bark or fillers.

Kiln-dried, untreated virgin hardwood ‘fuel’ pellets – Popular in the USA, but almost impossible to source in the UK. Until now!

Hydrates quickly into wet sawdust and pelletised for ease of use. Compact storage with no dust! The pelleting process heats the pellets to over 80°C which kills a large proportion of any contaminants so is suitable for cold water lime pasteurisation but will need to be steralised if adding supplements.
